5 Simple Things You Can Do to Stay Sane and Productive During These Crazy Times:
START YOUR DAY RIGHT – For me, this means coffee and a little relaxation time on our patio watching our pups play. I don’t know what it is about this but it just starts my day off right! It brings me joy, and it’s a very simple thing I can do for myself each day.
FIND INSPIRATION – I’ve joined several groups recently that are all about small business growth and success and I have really enjoyed the shift in my Facebook feed. I’m seeing less COVID-19 and more entrepreneurs like myself working to better themselves and their businesses. It’s inspiring! 10/10 recommend.
KEEP THE RIGHT CIRCLE – Are the people you interact with daily good for your soul? I know we aren’t interacting like we normally do right now, but I mean even the people you follow on social media, or the friends you chat with via text. Are they on your path? Are they staying positive? Do they bring you joy? If not, reassess where your energy is focused immediately. If you want success for yourself, your circle should emulate this.
MAKE LISTS – I am trying to make a conscious effort to do this for myself. First things first. << my mom will love this one. Tangible lists are a great way to keep your focus where it should be – on the important things! I prefer the pen and paper style... but really, whatever works for you!
OUTSOURCE – This was a hard one for me, as I’m such a doer instinctively. However, I’m learning that if I want to grow (and I do!!) then I need to acknowledge my strengths and weaknesses for what they are. Identify them, and then get help for those areas in which I am not the strongest. Invest in your business and yourself even if it’s scary.
Mindset is everything, right? So, let’s keep it positive!
